Connecting North East Delhi & Tronica City via 6 Lane Delhi-Dehradun Expressway by 2022.

The Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun corridor will reduce the travel time between the two cities from 7 hours at present to just 2.5 hours. Also, the Delhi-Dehradun expressway will lead to economic development of the nearby regions such as Tronica city, Baghpat, Mandola Vihar Yojana, etc . Notably, the expressway has been designed for driving at a minimum speed of 100 km/h.


This expressway would start from Akshardham Temple & pass through Geeta colony, Khajurikhas, Mandola, Tronica City, Baghpat, etc. The highway also aims to decongest the North East Delhi and also enhance development potential of Tronica city, Baghpat, Mandola Vihar Yojana of the Uttar Pradesh government.


This 12 km-long elevated corridor will be constructed to protect wildlife, thus it will be the first highway in India to have a wildlife protection corridor. After completion of this expressway, the distance between the two cities would be reduced from 235 kms to 210

kms.
